Why I Created OCR A-Level
Chemistry Mastery
Over the last 12 years coaching OCR A-Level Chemistry students I've noticed that:
Many were hardworking.
Many had achieved excellent GCSE grades.
Yet after just a few months of A-Level Chemistry, their confidence began to disappear.
Parents often assumed their child simply wasn't good enough.
But that was rarely the real problem.
Most students weren't held back by ability.
They were held back because no one had ever shown them how to study A-Level Chemistry effectively.
That's when I realised students didn't simply need another Chemistry tutor.

My Journey
Before creating OCR A-Level Chemistry Mastery, I worked as a nuclear waste scientist, science teacher and training consultant before dedicating my career to helping OCR A-Level Chemistry students achieve their potential.
Over time I realised that the students making the biggest improvements weren't necessarily the most naturally gifted, they were the ones with the right system.
That insight became the foundation of OCR A-Level Chemistry Mastery.
